Peter Kupinski

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Peter Kupinski, Optimax's Chief Operating Officer, brings extensive experience in precision optics manufacturing, having worked in the field since 2003.

Before joining Optimax in 2011, Peter focused much of his career as an engineer and engineering manager, particularly in developing optical coatings for high-energy laser applications. His deep expertise in this specialized area of optics has been instrumental in driving engineering innovations and advancing Optimax’s capabilities in high-performance laser optics.

Pete holds an MS in Materials Science from Alfred University and an MBA from the Simon School at the University of Rochester.

Experience

Pete has been working in precision optics manufacturing since 2003. The majority of his time in optics has been as an engineer or engineering manager working on optical coatings for high-energy laser operations.
