CREOL’s Optimax Research GranT Winner

Martin Richardson's  Critical Large Diameter Optics for Mobile High Energy Laser Diagnostic Facility (HEL-DF) project has been selected as the winner of CREOL's Optimax Research Grant! Martin states, “The mobile HEL-DF is intended to introduce a new level of sophistication to the challenges of interrogating and characterizing high-energy lasers in the field.” A stable environment is required due to the challenges of threatening terrain. With the help of the $20,000 Optimax Grant, 12″ optics will be utilized to support the facility's future use for major HEL systems.
